yeah ok i’m a huge animal person and seeing those images just makes me cry and feel horrible and makes me want to just sit and cry and do nothing for a while but then i get over it and do my part to actively not see those pictures ever again. which is probably the opposite of what they want. they do make me want to go do some local animal shelter stuff. but then i remember it’s not a no-kill shelter and i would end up bringing home animals and i just can’t. sit by and watch animals get euthanized because there isnt enough food or whatever bullshit and
